Retro Festive 2015 Christmas Season Press Release
Retro Festive, a Canadian online retailer of quirky merchandise from Christmas culture and pop culture icons, is back for the 2015 holiday season with hundreds of new items, thousands of classic treasures, and exclusive Home Alone merchandise to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the beloved John Hughes film.
Home Alone (1990), starring Macaulay Culkin, told the story of young Kevin McCallister who was left to defend his home from blundering thieves, after a family feud left him home alone at Christmas. Retro Festive will celebrate 25 years of Home Alone with new shipments of sweaters, t-shirts, mugs and action figures with the best characters and one-liners from the film, plus turtle dove ornaments and iconic Kevin McCallister reindeer knit hats.
Ninja Snowman. Pooping Moose. Zombie Santa. Retro Festive truly is Canada’s largest Ugly Christmas Sweater emporium with dozens of funky, festive and flirty styles in all sizes and senses of humour. In addition to new and licensed sweater designs, Retro Festive will also stock one-of-a-kind vintage Ugly Christmas Sweaters for the first time this year.
Retro Festive is happy to once again offer ultra-popular NHL Ugly Christmas Sweaters for the die-hard hockey fans who wear their team – and Christmas – spirit on their sleeves! Plus, for the first time ever, we’re introducing the Toronto Blue Jays Ugly Christmas Sweater!
It is the perfect year to “Peanutize” the holidays, with the release of The Peanuts Movie in November 2015. The Charlie Browniest of Christmas fans can visit Retro Festive to find the beloved Charlie Brown Christmas Tree, Peanuts kitchenware and Snoopy Nutcrackers.
